"The Dinosaur who wanted to become a pirate" is a charming and fun children's book series written by the talented Sverre Bjørstad Graff. The book stars a clumsy, naive and well-meaning dinosaur who befriends a strange little necktie sporting career counsellor. Together they go on an adventures, squabble, grow and learn.
Sverre and I immediately bonded over a shared love for the old Monkey Island adventure games, which ended up being a big inspiration for the visual look we eventually arrived at. This was my first published picture book for children, and an experience I learned a lot from. Currently the series spans 2 books, with a third in the works.
